As an Account Associate, you will manage a portfolio of client accounts, delivering high-quality services through the latest cloud accounting technology. You will be responsible for overseeing bookkeeping, management reporting, credit control, and general business support, ensuring your clients receive exceptional service.

Our client, a leading and innovative firm offering top-tier accounting and business advisory services, is searching for a detail-oriented and client-focused Account Associate to join their outsourcing team.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management & Reporting: Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely completion of accounts preparation, management reports, and bank reconciliations. Collaborate across teams to identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services.
  • Bookkeeping & Invoicing: Provide accurate bookkeeping services, including data entry, ledger management, and processing client invoices. Ensure payroll journals are processed in Xero before the month-end deadline.
  • Payment Processing & Reconciliation: Draft and prepare payment runs and complete bank reconciliations within agreed timescales to meet client deadlines.
  • Workflow & Task Management: Keep task management systems up-to-date with accurate data, and assist in ensuring that all processes are completed within set timeframes.
  • Continuous Improvement & Risk Management: Identify ways to improve service delivery, client satisfaction, and internal efficiency, while keeping the Account Manager informed of any risks or issues in a timely manner.



Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Qualifications: AAT qualification (essential).
  • Experience: Experience with Xero or other cloud accounting platforms.
  • Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, and time management abilities.
  • Mindset: Proactive and detail-oriented, with a passion for client satisfaction and continuous improvement.
