We are currently supporting a Not-for-Profit in Coventry to recruit a Financial Controller. This role is paying up to £62,000 per annum, offering hybrid working.
A Not-for-Profit that supports the local community across Warwickshire.
Financial Controller:
- Manage and review the work of the finance team in Coventry.
- Preparation of the annual reports and financial statements.
- Production of the monthly management accounts.
- Lead on monthly reviews with key budget holders.
- Maintain accurate records of funds.
- Implement & maintain robust internal controls.
- Monitor and report on unrestricted & restricted funds.
- Liaise with the auditors throughout the external audit.
- Work with the Director of Finance to prepare the financial reports.
- Ensure the organisation is compliant from a finance perspective in line with charity legislation.
Financial Controller:
- It is essential you are fully CCAB (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA), CGMA (CIMA) or equivalent qualified.
- Previous experience of creating and preparing statutory and management accounts.
- Strong knowledge of Charity SORP accounting is essential.
- A background knowledge of fund accounting.
- Up to date knowledge of VAT returns and partial exemption.
- Working examples of managing and developing a finance team.
£60,000 - £62,000 per annum.
35 hours hour per week.
