We are currently recruiting for a Payments Processing Associate to join a dynamic and growing team in Cambridge.

Are you a highly motivated individual with a keen interest in payments or back-office operations within the financial sector?

Are you detail-oriented, personable and confident?

This Payments Processing Associate role is available on a 6-month fixed term contract offering an immediate start.

In this busy and varied role, you'll be opening, processing, and funding accounts on behalf of clients, including:

  • Checking high-value transactions
  • Recording confirmations of payments on their system
  • Transferring funds between bank accounts
  • Confirming to internal teams on all payments executed daily
  • Performing daily reconciliation processes
  • Communicating with banking partners regarding account openings and the execution of payments to and from them

Work with the companies banking partners to update products on their platform, including:

  • Daily product upload to our platform for certain banks
  • Creating new products on our platform when there are new offerings
  • Communicating with banking partners on bespoke rates and products for high-value clients

You'll be using the clients systems and processes every day and they're always looking to improve these. They will want to hear your ideas and feedback on:

  • Making payment processes more efficient
  • Making processes easier for clients
  • Making the technology interface more user-friendly

Your role will be vital in servicing new and existing clients and your team's work will directly impact the client experience.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has strong analytical skills
  • Has excellent knowledge of MS Excel
  • Is able to work without supervision
  • Has accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • Has excellent numeracy skills
  • Has a financial or economic background or education

Location:

  • Hybrid working pattern in Cambridge office, 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.

Hours:

  • Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm

  • Negotiable
