I am so exciting to be partnering with this fantastic Cambridge based business in their search for a People Advisor. There will be a particular focus on Employee Relations in this role, and you will be playing a pivotal role in providing HR support to line managers. If you are passionate about championing wellbeing, driving EDI initiatives and enhancing the overall employee experience, this could be right up your street!

Our client, a well-established company based in Cambridge, is seeking a dynamic and experienced People Advisor to join their team. This is a fantastic role for an HR professional who thrives on making a meaningful impact, providing expert guidance to line managers, and enhancing the overall employee experience.

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to line managers on best practices in people management, including performance management, employee relations, and HR policies and procedures
  • Lead on employee wellbeing initiatives, ensuring a positive and engaged workforce.
  • Support HR projects, policies, and initiatives that align with the company's culture and values.
  • Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives to foster an inclusive and supportive workplace.
  • Support the Head of People in the design and delivery of initiatives to promote employee wellbeing and mental health awareness across the organisation, including organising workshops and events.

  • Experience coaching managers through ER (think PIPs and performance management, feedback conversations, maternity/paternity/shared parental and adoption leave, flexible working requests)
  • Demonstrable examples of improving processes and ways of working, ideally through the use of automation
  • Up to date knowledge of UK employment law legislation
  • Experience supporting with complex ER
  • Understanding to take a commercial approach7
  • You must hold a UK Drivers licence.
