My client are looking to bring on board and experienced People Business Partner into their team based in Staffordshire on a 12 month FTC.

The key responsibilities of the People Business Partner based in Staffordshire include but are not limited to the following.
- Provide guidance to People Advisers on complex employee relations cases, ensuring risk is assessed and addressed.
- Mentor and coach People Advisers on various HR activities.
- Oversee People Business Partnering activities within designated areas and provide support across other areas as needed.
- Deliver a customer-focused People Service that aligns with departmental priorities.
- Assist managers with workforce planning, including establishment reviews and talent management initiatives.
- Collaborate with Learning and Development to leverage the Apprenticeship Levy for organisational priorities.
- Drive performance management initiatives, including people management training.
- Work with Learning and Development on succession planning and talent management to retain high performers.
- Lead and implement change programs, ensuring stakeholder engagement and risk assessment.
- Manage TUPE processes, including due diligence and risk management.
- Attend operational meetings to provide HR insights and recommendations.
- Manage legal processes such as claims, exits, and tribunal preparation in collaboration with the legal team.
- Lead HR-related projects as directed, contributing to the development of the HR People Plan and wider workforce strategy.
- Assist in creating KPIs and data suites to guide people-related decisions.
- Support the development of an organisational culture aligned with corporate strategy.
- Design and implement employee engagement, relations, talent management, and performance management initiatives.
- Stay informed on legislative changes affecting HR policies and practices, ensuring statutory compliance and managing risk.
- Oversee data management and reporting, ensuring GDPR compliance and supporting internal audits.
- Provide cost analysis for HR-related matters.
- Offer leadership to People Adviser's, exemplifying company values.
- Support continuous service improvement and the development of service level agreements in collaboration with senior HR leaders.
The successful candidate of the People Business Partner position based in Staffordshire will have the following experience, qualifications and characteristics.
- Chartered Member CIPD (Level 7) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years in a senior HR Advisory role or current Business Partner role.
- Proven track record in partnering with business areas to provide HR services aligned with business objectives.
- Extensive experience in providing high-level advice on employment law, employee relations, and legislative changes.
- In-depth knowledge of performance management and techniques for influencing positive outcomes at both team and individual levels.
- Experience in a commercially focused environment, including handling TUPE processes.
- Experience representing HR in performance and relevant meetings.
- Ability to contribute to strategic people issues and corporate/business planning.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
- Strong analytic skills with the ability to present high-quality written, oral, and numerical information.
- Role model for collaborative working, valuing, and developing employees.
- Driving license and vehicle required for travel to offices and sites.
£47,487 per annum
Fixed term for 12 months
Hours - Full time, 37 hours per week
