About the Role:

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all procurement activities across the organisation. This critical role blends tactical and strategic responsibilities, offering you the opportunity to make a significant impact on their business success. You will play a key part in optimising costs, securing timely deliveries, and building strong, long-lasting relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of purchasing professionals to achieve business goals.
  • Define and execute a global supply chain strategy that maximises value for the organisation and our customers.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring the best terms, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of procurement activities with broader business objectives.
  • Manage risk within the supply chain, ensuring business continuity and sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement leadership role, ideally with electronics / telecommunications or consumer goods Industries' experience
  • Strong track record in developing and executing global supply chain strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in cost optimisation and supplier relationship management.
  • Ability to manage both day-to-day procurement activities and high-level strategic initiatives.
