This will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to specialise in the Medical Sector. You will work directly alongside a highly impressive Partner in delivering accounting services to clients.
Our client is a highly reputable Top 30 Accountancy Firm who offer a wide range of services including auditing, accounting, tax, and corporate finance to a diverse client base. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the preparation of moderate to large accounts, including related tax computations
- Preparing monthly management accounts and VAT returns as needed
- Handling complex client queries and offering practical solutions
- Reviewing the work of team members before submission to the manager
- Mentoring junior staff and providing feedback on their performance and work quality
- Ensuring assignments are completed within agreed time frames and budget constraints
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- ACA or ACCA qualification - part-qualified applicants welcome
- Previous experience in an accountancy practice, including preparation of statutory accounts and tax computations for healthcare clients
- Current knowledge of VAT regulations
- Client-facing experience
- Experience with Xero, Sage and QuickBooks Online
